LetMeRepair acquires MTC Repairs Kzn Pty Ltd

LetMeRepair is pleased to announce that on 1st of July 2009 we acquired the entire asset base of MTC Repairs Kzn Pty Ltd based in Durban, South Africa.

MTC brings a wealth of experience on the repair of LCD Monitors and Multivendor printers. The MTC expertise will be utilized to develop and expand the footprint of LetMeRepair in South Africa to serve both as an additional bench operation as well as to facilitate the On-site contracts held by LetMeRepair. This will also further complement the product portfolio and regional coverage of the existing LetMeRepair locations in MEA. In return, LetMeRepair will strengthen the infrastructure of the business by introducing the whole unit repair of Notebook, Monitor, Imaging, Printer, Projector and LCD TV repair. whilst establishing quality and transparent reporting via our internally designed and programmed CRM system OPAL.

The purchase of MTC Repairs Kzn Pty Ltd complements the LetMeRepair group activities providing Level 1 to Level 3 repair such as hotline, carrier management, whole unit repair, SMT and BGA level repair of PCB.

We are delighted to announce that the shareholders and staff of MTC Repairs Kzn Pty Ltd will remain in key function in the organization to support the growth plans of South Africa and the MEA territory.

With immediate effect, MTC Repairs Kzn Pty Ltd will become a wholly owned subsidiary of LetMeRepair. The enlarged entity will consist of highly complementary services and will now be recognised as one of the key emerging players in the break fix and maintenance solution companies in South Africa with an exposure to the whole spectrum of activities within the LetMeRepair EMEA group of companies and therefore demonstrate total capability to handle all aspects pertaining to the after sales services of the IT and Consumer Electronic industries.
